  1. loffle I wouldn't be able to recreate these exact effects in a million years. Your talking to a guy with the worst memory in the history of memories. But if you wanna steal them as your own work to use in a webpage or something then be my guest. I'll never use them because I prefer things to be simple and basic, which is why I prefer I guess to draw cartoons instead of photo type images..... .... just like that cool moon image that that guy just posted. Those clouds look really good.
  2. Well IU don't know why your copy of paint.net would be doing this. Try reinstalling it perhaps? Here is a picture of how it should look.
  3. nice icons Pikapika217 and nice sig litchi. That flower really is beautiful. It has been ages since I have posted anything decent in here. I am afraid the new drawings I have come to show arn't cartoons like usual. They are images I have creatued using the raw features of paint.net All of them were started off with a simple drawing such as a few bold lines scattered around the canvas, or a few filled circles of various sizes. Don't ask me how those initial drawings eded up to be these but I used the layer blending a lot as well as the plugins created by rick (namely the polar thingy). ps: Sorry if you already saw the circle ones (I posted them in another post). 4. you make it sound so complicated rick!! A quick way to do it would to just hold shift while you fill in one hexagon and then it'll automatically fill in all of them.
  5. telconstar99 - Is that a dodgeball poster on the left that we can just about see? Well I love that film!! So I drew this. I used the wonderful motion blur that paint.net has to make it more lively!
  6. lol "paintdotneato"... That's a funny name. Nice pictures.
  7. If Mr T were alive today, he would use this signiture. But he's not so I declare you todays winner of the pictorium.
  8. OH MY GOD. Why did noone tell me about that global select thing. WHO EVER INVENTED THAT IS GREATER THAN JESUS AND SUPER TED COMBINED!!!!!!
  9. Those bubbles are rubbish compared to my new amazing super amazing awesome way to make them. I can't remember who showed me how to do this but they are from this forum. They had a tutorial to give text an outline so I shouldn't really take the credit for this.... Well anyway heres what to do.. Make a black cloud like this... Then make a layer on top of it and paste the black cloud onto it. Colour the bubble on the top layer white. now select the top layer (with the white bubble on) and gausian blur it by about 5 units. Now gaussian blur the layer with the black cloud on it by about 20 units and then duplicate this layer about 10 times This will leave you with something like this. Now flatten the image into one layer and then sharpen the whole image by the full 4 units. Do this twice and you will be left with a nice crip bubble!!! I know the edge is a bit thin!!!! so to fix that, scale the white bubble down a lil bit before you flatten the image and do the rest as normal. You should be left with something like this... Then just draw your picture!!!
  10. If you mean the ones that look like clouds, then here's a quick way to do it if you can't do them by freehand. Draw a load of circles like this... Then fill in all the gaps so it looks like this... Now select the cloud bubble and then create a new layer. On this new layer paste the black bubble. Colour the bubble on the top layer white and then scale it down a bit by selecting it, hold shift, and use the pointer tool to drag the corner. Then it should look something like this... Now select the layer that has the white part of the bubble on, and do a gausian blur on it by about 2 units. This will make it look a bit better. Then just make a few of the bubbles to make a picture! Hope this helps. PS: im not an emo
  11. I also have a suggestion about paint.net The ability to undo the last changes local to specific layers would be awesome! IE. Still have the normal undo function, but at the same time have a kind of 'sub' undo function that will only undo the changes applied to the selected layer.
  12. Hello... On my Sunday afternoon the following came to mind.... O.o what kind of enhancements?
  13. lol have any of you seen the old beta model of gordon freeman? It looks so weird! Also here is another hl2 picture. It is basically using the same drawings as before but this pictures better I think.
  14. wooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaahhh. If you focus really intensely on the center square of the first picture it breaks your eyes. I also like the paint.net logo
  15. lmao thats so funny. You are a genious!!! What program did you use to make it?!??!!
  16. BUzzkill, I agree about the reflection!!!... AWF that's a awesome picture! And A_Pickle I just finished watching your movie!! HAHA thanks you. The fight was brilliant especially with the pillow cam and the random guns lol. Nice sound editing by the way!
  17. Lol thanks for the replies everyone!!!! I'm glad you all like it ^.^ The positive feedback is awesome! and Sorry about your bum Dan!!!
  18. mmmmm spaghetti. Well like I said it is a very petty suggestion and lets face it, who is ever going to use a scroll wheel in the layer box. I just felt like adding my two cents. But thanks for replying.
  19. Is it possible to change the main focus depending on what part of the screen the mouse is hovering above? For example if you hover the mouse above the layer box, the scroll wheel then takes effect in the scroll box. I'm not much of a programmer so dont make fun of my ignorance.
  20. If you would like to do so, allowing the use of a scroll wheel in the layers box? I know thats probably the most petty suggestion you have ever heard in the history of your life, but I am a sad sad person.
  21. concerning http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1151 I am amazed at Georges post in the forum. It just goes to show that some people really are jerk wads. He is one of those nerds who defends to the death their opinions... believing that everything they think is fact and that everyone else is completely wrong about everything... Well I hope he dies in a horrific airbrush related accident..... (not really but wouldn't that be ironic?!)
