Rick Brewster
Not that I know of. PSP is ... Playstation Portable? Or Paintshop Pro? Hellfire010
I'm pretty sure its Paintshop Pro. I googled for both and didn't come up with a .psp extension for Playstation.
13Misfit13
.psp is paint shop pro...I am not a computer guy but I am assuming that something in the format or programing for paint shop is totally different than photo shop...and even though paint shop will save in the .psd format, it writes it in a way that the .psd plug-in does not recognize. Rick Brewster
Hmm I don't think there are enough PSP users to have any demand for a plugin. 13Misfit13
I am not being argumentitive...but from what I have seen and heard...corels paint shop pro photo x2 is replacing a lot of peoples photo shop because you can open and save in .psp and .psd where as I am pretty sure a lot of older versions of photo shop will not open up .psp files...that and paint shop gives you a lot more than photo...personally...I like paint.net a lot better than both due to the fact that the interface is way better and the over all use is eaiser to get the hang of than other programs as well as all of the plg-ins the guy's create is awsome...was just hoping for a .psp plugin because a lot of the files I go to use are now in that file type and I just can't open them in paint.net...Thanx any way for the responses! Andrew D
That begs the slightly off-topic question; how do you create a file-type plug-in?
Rick Brewster
You write some C# code Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
Andrew D
You write some C# code I know that But I mean, how? I'm guessing it is pretty complex to adapt a filetype to another program without having the code for the filetype in the first place, right? :? Bob
Yes, i'll try, but the format seems to have changed and i don't find the new spec http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=13416 Same here, the Corel website is not really useful. Try contacting the support. Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
