First off, since I'm new here, I'd like to say hello. BoltBait directed me here, so you can thank him for my presence.

I just checked out some of the threads around here and a lot of you are pretty talented. That's a good start.

What I'm here for is to get someone to draw out a tattoo idea I've had for some time. I'm looking to get a couple of different ideas, and then eventually take them in and put it all into one perfect piece.

The idea is this:

It would be a demon-ish/devilish/evil/undead (you get the idea?) hand, with some of the wrist/forearm showing, throwing the metal/hard rock "horns". The thumb must be seen, showing outwards.

I want some decent detail to the skin, fingers and fingernails. Details I'm looking for could be cracked fingernails, rotting skin, torn flesh, etc. The more disgusting the better. The rest would be entirely up to you.

I don't expect perfection. I just want some different opinions to bring in to show the actual person who will be drawing up the final piece.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and even more thanks to those who take the time to give it a shot.

I think I'll take a stab at it.

Now, is this a simple black outline-style tattoo or a color one? I know what we draw won't be the final one, but I don't want to go too far into subtle shading detail if the final is going to be straight black. That kinda thing.

Cheers!

Is this the pose you are looking for:

This is the pose I'm looking for.

I don't want the tattoo to have much color in it, so doing a simple black outlined one would be great. When I go to get it done, I may ask for some red thrown in just to give it more depth.

0% PDN warning -

Note that Paint.NET was not used at all for this image. It was crafted in Inkscape, the final shape having 803 individual nodes. With a line tool that only has four nodes, one of which has to meet up with the end of the previous line, that's really only 3 new points with each line - a staggering 268 individual lines, had I used PDN. Sorry guys. :(

Littlest Tiniest Babies warning -

As requested, this illustration is rather disturbing, with broken / exposed bones, blood vessels, and generally misshapen form. If you're squeamish, or someone within eyesight is, I'd advise caution.

Because of the aforementioned things, I'm linking to the image instead of posting it:

Enjoi! I hope it at least helps inspire your final design. I want to thank you for giving me a rather interesting challenge. I don't often have cause to tap my macabre side, and this was a very captivating diversion. Cheers!

Wow, that's actually a lot better than I had expected! Very cool! Thank you VERY much for taking the time to make that.

If anyone else wants to give it a shot, feel free. Like I said, I want to take the things I like from a bunch of different pieces and turn it into one.
