drakaan Posted May 30, 2007 Share Posted May 30, 2007 This is an old gimp trick, but should work pretty much the same way in PDN... 1. open source image in Paint.Net 2. duplicate the background layer (the image) 3. select the topmost layer in the layers dialog 4. edit the layer properties and set the mode to "overlay" 5. apply a gaussian blur (2 - 10px should work) to layer (er're still on the top layer) 6. go to the layer properties again and adjust the opacity until it looks as vibrant as you want.
