Glow
How can I go back and edit text? I tried going back and editing the text I had, but the entire text disappeared. O.O I'm using a text effect, I need to edit the text itself while still maintaining the effect. I don't want to start over and repeat the lengthy process of making the same effect again with new text. Quote Test
pdnnoob
Once you deselect the text, it is committed to the layer as pixels. If you want to be able to edit text, you'll need to install the editable text plugin 1 Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. Glow
I installed it, and I'm able to edit my text, but the text effect disappears when I go back to edit the text. I'd like to maintain the text effect. Quote Test
Ego Eram Reputo
From the plugin thread where you also asked this question: You can't. The text must be unadorned and on it's own layer. Simon Brown (plugin author) specifically states in the first post in this thread: "Do not make any changes to that layer apart from layer properties and editing the text with this plugin."
