nicephotos
I have a 825 pixels x 1125 pixels photo, 300 pixels/inch, making it a size of: 2.75 inches x 3.75 inches. However when I prepared to print this: i.e. copying the image and pasting it onto an open office file or microsoft word file (as I need to safe a file with photos for the printing shop), the size of the image shows as almost covering an entire A4 sheet. Why is that and not the set size?
nicephotos
Not sure why it's doing that, but either way I found a solution to avoiding it. By using 'insert', 'image', 'from file', it shows at the correct size.
Ego Eram Reputo
Because the only electronic device that you own that uses DPI is your printer. All your screens use 96PPI. As I pointed out in a previous post this equates to an image that is 8.59 inches x 11.72 inches (825/96=8.59 and 1125/96=11.718). Close to an A4 page yes?
