Lance McKnight
I am using a free software called "picturenaut" to create HDR photography. It basically merge three exposures of a single scene and create a HDR image. It saves to TIF format, and whenever I try to open it in PDN, it reports an error in reading the file. I am not sure if this is Paint.NET or picturenaut problem. I thought I'd try this first before I try the picturenaut's website. Ego Eram Reputo
TIF support in paint.net is minimal and provided on a "Gee if it works - that's great" basis ( http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/19468-lab-color-space/page__view__findpost__p__330287) If possible, you would be better to change the type of file you're exporting to. Alternatively, use paint.net to create your image: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/12198-hdr-image-blending-tone-mapping/ Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
Lance McKnight
I figured it was Paint.NET that had trouble reading TIF file. Thanks for pointing out the tutorial, I think I have attempted something similar like that before. Quote Officially retired from this forum. Have a nice day.
