Upshaw Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 I was simply wondering the best means in Paint.Net to use a black and white image and use it as the alpha channel of my image, with white being opaque and black being fully transparent. I looked through the plugins on the site and didn't see anything that seemed to resemble what I was after. Any insight on the matter is much appreciated. Crimson Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 (edited) What you are looking for is the Alpha Mask Import plugin, I believe. It's relatively inflexible by design (it doesn't actually become a channel, it just applies a one-time effect to look like one) but should function exactly how you want it.
