jte
Hi all, I selected an object in my drawing with 'magic wand', and want to give the object a new position with 'move selection'. The object move's nicely but how can I confirm/accept the new position of my object so the object actually moves to the new possition :?: The object on the new position keeps blinking With kind regards, Jurgen
Simon Brown
Select the rectangle select tool and right-click.
jte
Hi Simon, First of all, thanks for your answer but unfortunately I don't exactly understand what you mean (very newbie  ) I draw a rectangle, select it with tool-> Magic Wand, move the object. Now I see two objects, the one on the old position, and the one (blinking) on the new position. Kind regards.
Simon Brown
The old one is what's left after you moved it.
jte
Please see the attachement. The left object should be moved to the place I picked at the right. When does the 'old' one disappears ?
Ash
Don't hold the Ctrl key when moving. Am I understanding you correctly? Quote All creations Ash + Paint.NET [ Googlepage | deviantArt | Club PDN | PDN Fan ]
Kemaru
Oh, I see. You're using the wrong Move tool. Instead of , use . The blue blinking one you have moved is the selection. I hope I could help. btw Ash, nice to see you active again.
