Impact Finale
Does anyone know how to put an animation gif as part of a sig? I've seen some people pull this off. Is it really complicated?

Like i made a signature already. Then i found a small gif that I want to place somewhere within the signature. After that i want to upload my signature (Which i already know how to do) but i want the signature to work and have its 14 frames rather then 1. I'll try to find examples. david.atwell
You can upload animated GIFs to Photobucket. Quote  The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Simon Brown
How would uploading a gif to photobucket help me put it on my sig? Signatures must be hosted off-site, your problem might be that you're using a host that doesn't support animated GIFs.

Kemaru
So you're saying you want to place it in your signature banner? Not the space, but into the image? someone93
You need a program that can edit animated GIF files. Why not use your "animated image" plugin?
Impact Finale
how do i do this with the animated plugin and where do i find it ? !!! Alright i installed it. It's pretty hard to use. I don't see it appearing in any of the options. It was brown's anime plugin. Am i doing anything wrong? and what are the steps to put a gif in the sig? Something about a frame in each layer? i dun get it .
someone93
From the plugin page: Here is a plugin to open and save animated GIFs, one frame into each layer. You will have to rename them to .agif to be imported and rename them after saving (I did this to avoid conflict with the built-in GIF handler). Place this plugin in the FileTypes folder. Open the animation (read above). Make a layer with your sig beneath all of the animation frames. Merge each frame layer to the sig layer beneath it. Save as agif, then change the file extension to .gif (as stated above).
Simon Brown
Note that you must also change the extension to .agif before opening.

Do i just go Open and search for the GIF? or is there a way to do it through the gif maker? and how do i rename then .agif before importing? Please use detail. thanks again. I use firefox.. but shouldn't this whole gif anime program that you made work on the paint program? Why is it that internet browser is so important.
