0rinoco
I haven't used clone for some time, now, and had no problems with it, but it seems to have changed somewhat. I have been unable to set up the clone tool source and target and can't recall how I used to do it. Any advice welcome. TIA.
Solution Tactilis Posted April 22 Solution Share Posted April 22 @0rinoco It's always a good idea to first read the comprehensive and well written paint.net Documentation. In paint.net click the Help icon at the top right, or press the shortcut key F1, or bookmark this page https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/index.html The Clone Stamp is described under Tools -> Photo Tools -> Clone Stamp Tool https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/CloneStamp.html The way the tool works has not changed. 0rinoco
Thanks. In spite of being shown as a newbie, I have, in fact, been using Paint for about 15-20 years.. Had a change of details, new account when my email address became defunct. The clone cursor had me fooled with the anchor symbol which I hadn't seen previously. Anyway, all sorted, thanks to your advice. Much appreciated. Edited April 22 by 0rinoco Added detail for clarification.
