Marilynx
I am back at my talisman collection. (It's ongoing for a series of books). THis time, I'm after a yin-yang symbol made of malachite and moonstone, with bronze surrounding the malachite, and platinum surrounding the moonstone. This is a first attempt at the design, using Creative Text Pro to do the metals. The malachite is from the above thread. For the moonstone, I tried blue and green clouds and then blurred them, but they did not give the effect I wanted. The plan is the make a necklace of a number of the symbols, linked by bronze links. (The magicker in question really likes bronze and malachite, but this time he's working with someone who does platinum and moonstone.) There will likely be 29 symbols in the necklace. Ego Eram Reputo
Moonstone. You want a milky white with blue and white highlights almost like ice crystals? Here a cleaned up History Pixel Sort is a new plugin. I've used it to create runs of color. One layer used vertical and the other horizontal. I duplicate one layer then rotated and flipped it to add a similar pattern with different orientation. 1 3 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker

A description of moonstone is "Generally a white stone, rainbow moonstone features occasional iridescent or multicolored flashes with transparency that ranges from opaque to semitranslucent. Rainbow moonstone is best seen in natural light for play of color." THis is a pic of a rainbow moonstone, which I snagged from Firemountain Gems.
