cloa513
The pen is set to black but whatever I use whether text or draw shape, it is all white. I just installed Paint.net on this computer. How to fix this?
NinthDesertDude
Press escape when the canvas has focus to deselect all, because you might have a selection area set if you're not seeing anything at all But can you clarify if it's not showing up at all or if it's showing up white as you say, just because some people aren't too clear and it's nice to make sure
Ego Eram Reputo
You may have inadvertently selected the Secondary color, or swapped out the Primary color. Find this icon in the Colors window If you don't have a black square in the top left Click on the small black square (or press C on your keyboard to toggle between Primary & Secondary colors). cloa513
It has somewhere fixed itself but it was producing text and squares with markers. I flicked the change color several times. https://www.dropbox.com/s/gan7maxonsmhb51/white out.pdn?dl=0 Edited October 19, 2021 by cloa513 Created a link to troublesome pdn
NinthDesertDude
These aren't part of the image at all, it's a visual indicator of transparency in the image
