LoudSilence
I wanted to make some paint.NET tutorials with OBS Studio, I selected to record paint.net but unfortunately, it only recorded the canvas, but not the effects tabs, tools, history, color picker, layers, etc. However, if paint.net was made into one window, wouldn't this not be a problem? BoltBait
Or, you could use a different recording tool, like ShareX? I don't think Rick is going to completely change the way Paint.NET works just because OBS Studio has bugs... LoudSilence
My choices: I know this sounds a bit stupid, but im not sure which one paint.net falls under (previously, i had selected window capture) This was what it gave me previously Quote PDN Discord Server
toe_head2001
You'll need to ask the OBS folks about that. Or, as BoltBait suggested, use ShareX instead. Cqrbon
select display mode, this way, youll record the whole screeen, including paint.net. it will also record anything that appears on that display, but you can cut these parts out in an editing software. you can resize the window if you want to, this way task bar etc wont appear. Cqrbon
you can also record multiple scenes in obs for every window.
