Image Alpha changes after copy & paste

Recommended Posts

after I copy and paste an image I've been finding errors where the edge of the image has a lower opacity than it should.  I'm not sure if there is a way to fix this or even what the problem is.

I have noticed similar issue when running alpha mask on copied and pasted image, and one way to combat the extra spaces around the image is to use AA Assistant, part of dpy's plugin pack.

Can you give specific steps to reproduce the issue?

This.

Where you're copying from is crucially important. Could even be a bug at the source, not in Paint.NET.
