Pixey
This is about the 3rd time this has happened in the last few months, when Paint.net v.4.0.9 will not open a PDN file properly into layers. I have tried "Repair" but the situation continues. Here is an image of a PDN with four layers opened in v.4.0.9 Here is the same PDN opened in 3.5.11 Am I doing something wrong? I am not switching between Paint.net versions. I always use v 4.0.9 and have only used 3.5.11 to show what is happening. Look forward to your responses . IRON67
Your first screenshot shows the History window - not the Layer window. So we can not really compare things with your second screenshot. If your image has four layers, it should be saved as PDN file, right? Then you don't need to IMPORT from file. You just have to OPEN the PDN file as every other image file. Edited April 21, 2016 by IRON67

Pixey
I suspected this before Sometimes you need a pair of different eyes .... Yes, it's called Lazy eye I'm not surprised this happened. When I'm painting portraits, I always turn them horizontally for a time, as the eye misses things after a prolonged period of looking at a steady image . Woodsy
Hey Pixie, I know at one time you wanted to know how to make your images private on Photobucket, so people wouldn't see your whole library when they clicked on a thumbnail. Well I tried making my images private and it worked (for now). Quote My PDN Gallery
