  1. Mattz 2 Julio 0 I agree with Stone on this one. Julio, try to not put the car in the center of the signature, as I think chrisco said (might be chrisco, I'm just guessing) a few pages back because it seems that the car is floating. Stone, I think Mattz uses an enlarged version of the render to make the background, hence why it always matches.
  2. Perhaps I can enter again with this one?
  3. Mattz: 2 Julio: 0 The colours are way too... contrasting. Hurts my eyes. Seems like you used some Negative/XOR Blend Modes. Mattz yours is really good, i'd use a different font next time and maybe not such a thick border
  4. Mattz: 2 IOE: 0 I agree 100% with chrisco on this one.
  5. I didnt even think of this thread, woops Oh well, it's great that a designer like him is using Paint.NET, could give you guys some well deserved recognition.
  6. Is this old news? or have I discovered something? It seems that Notch, the man behind the massive new sandbox game Minecraft, uses Paint.NET in the design of the game. It's cool that he would use Paint.NET over other programs, i.e. Photoshop, for this sort of stuff. Just shows how good Paint.NET really is. Keep up the good work guys.
  7. Wow that i seriously good stuff. One of the better Planet tutorials on here.
  8. Ahhh, to shed some light on that. The forum used to be hosted by a company called Forumer. Paint.NET forums have since moved to their old domain, but the old links still remain to the old forum, which has shut down.
  9. simple. resize one to the same size as the other make your canvas twice as wide as one picture paste on picture in and Auto Align it to the left make a new layer paste the other picture in and Auto Align it to the right save
  10. I agree, tell us a campfire story Pyro
  11. Wouldn't this encourage the lowering of self esteem and confidence of users?
  12. perhaps give it a bit of a shine over the top of the text
  13. perhaps OP has moved the windows to a position off the screen, so even when it is active you cannot see it because it is moved off the screen. although BoltBait's solution should fix that....
  14. it seems like some sort of online flash based program.
  15. Could you post a link for the effects pack you downloaded?
  16. I'm not too sure about the rest of you, but I've had a trial version of WinRar for about 3 years now and it's never expired
  17. It sure can be done. Just cut out what you would like to be superimposed with either the lasso selection or magic wand tool. Then create a new layer with your new desired background, move it under your original photo and flatten. You may need to use BoltBait's Feather plug-in (I think its BoltBait's, I'm not 100% certain) on your original image
  18. Change the contrast. That should in theory make your grayscale image all black and white pixels
  19. Or alternatively you could just open the image and copy and paste it in to the document you like, this way stops it from automatically resizing your canvas.
  20. i like your work, well apssed noob now my friend
  21. i fixed it guys thx for your help a quick search for Paint.NET came up with a folder in the Local App folder and i renamed it liek you said thx again guys
