  1. So ... many ... smilies ... Thanks MixMan, looking forward to updates in your gallery as well. Thank you Crimson. And while working on the glass lettering, I thought of a new idea: Glassy 3D Text   Although I probably couldn't do it. WARNING: Shock Smiley Overload. Initiating Shut Down Sequence.
  2. New piece! (see first post) Glassy Lettering - an expiredConcept I've been trying to achieve this effect for a long time, ever since I saw this tutorial for Photoshop. This was the best and closest result I got to the original piece. Enjoy!
  3. I really like all of your spacescapes, they're incredibly realistic. My favorite would have to be your second piece and your gallery banner (the text effect is spectacular).
  4. Thanks Jake. That means a lot coming from you, seeing how you are the master of 3D objects.
  5. Thanks to you! Never posted it? Come on, you know how we all love to see your pieces. (Please?) I wish I was in your mind, it would be like a stockpile of super PDN techinques and pwnage skillz.
  6. Omigosh! Wither's back! Haven't seen you around in a while Wither, I was wondering where you'd gone. :o Those are some sweet pics, I especially like the first one. Way to come back with a bang!
  7. That's because he had them hosted on-site, so David removed them accordingly. EDIT: Ack, beaten by Pyro.
  8. New piece! (see first post) Flow - an expiredConcept I'm really proud of this one because it looks pretty realistic in my opinion. I got inspiration from Oma's water piece, and I decided to try one myself, as lately I have been venturing into the realm of glass, ice, water, etc. Enjoy!
  9. Oma's water work (above) inspired me to try my hand at some water. Took about an hour, I think. Just experimented with different effects and blending modes. I bring you: Flow - an expiredConcept:
  10. It's very beautiful. It also reminds me of something Jake2k did, except it was just 4 glossy bars of color, I think. And @TLH, it's in his gallery, it's called Spectrum. He also has another one of a cityscape like that.
  11. I like the effect, but at first glance I thought it said "Pain ..." Lol.
  12. I think I know whose tut you followed. *points to link in sig*
  13. Why are you going and posting this again? You already had a thread locked for this. This is not a place to look for artists to design for you, whether volunteer or paid.
  14. Its nice, but the character looks a little squished in your sig. And also, for future reference, there is a specific Umbrella designated for sigs and avatars.
  15. Nice pic Valor Knight. Its kinda coincidental that right now we are learning about the Second Great Awakening and Thoreau in Social Studies, and that exact quote was mentioned in our textbook.
  16. Please read the rules. All images must be hosted off-site. Thank you. Other than that, lovely picture.
  17. Try ... four times. Once in the Society button on top. Three times in the Community Portal on the bottom.
  18. Thanks! This was my first serious attempt at making ice. I'm taking advice from Ash now, and I'll have a newer updated one up in a few days. *hands pyro a cold Mountain Dew* Thank you, the 3D text was a spinoff of Jake2k's tut. *catches Helio's congratulations*
  19. Thanks man, I'll be sure to check it out. Yeah, I have a somewhat obsession to be 100% PDN as much as possible in competitions.
  20. QFT. That's really good. Thank you TLH (i can call you that, right?). Thanks Taboo. I don't believe I've seen a gallery of your own yet. I'll be looking forward to it (if you plan on one, of course) Are you german or why did you use an articel about the german icebear Knut? Nope, I'm Chinese. I only used that article because it was the article on the main page when I took a screenshot of Wikipedia.
  21. Actually, there is an easier way. Change the canvas size (not Resize) to the size of the paper you are using to print. Then place the image a little away from the corner, because it may get cut off. Print, and it will be at its original size.
