  1. Might kind of old now, but, I made these in my spare time. Have fun with 'em. You'll have to color them in yourself, sorry. I did some of them with the "Julia" Fractal renderer. Making these are pretty easy, draw a basic circle, use the pencil tool and make it have "Sharp" sides, don't make it perfectly though, they won't be noticed, then, do Gaussian blur, and you're done. I'm so sorry they look so ugly enlarged Just use them at size 15-10 and it won't be noticed. EG: ooooOOoo, alright, awesome but ummm, where's the attachment? I guess i can just copy and paste them....but a brush would me much easier....just sayin' :?
  2. I'd like to request a brush if you guys don't mind..... Blood Splatter
  3. When you're creating a new image, set it to 2000 px wide and 2000 px tall, with a pixels/inch of 200. :-) DPI and PPI are the same thing, essentially. frigin' sweet, thank you very much
  4. I'm doin' a T-shirt contest and the rules say: Images must be 2000 pixels by 2000 pixels in 200 dpi. I set the pixels by goin' to canvas size, my question is; how EXACTLY do you set the DPI's I can't find anything in the menus to set DPI. Please help quickly.
  5. Hey there, was wondering if anybody would be willing to make some effects for me. I'm doing a Harry Potter photo manip and need either a stag patronus, or some really cool wand "sparks" (I don't know what to call it....the stuff that comes outta the wands) I can do photo minips but haven't figured out the cool 3D FX that you guys do. I couldn't pay you for it but I of course would give you credit for it on my DeviantArt page and a link to your DA page or the page of your choosing. Example of stag patronus:
  6. I saw that, but a step by step would be nice 'cause I still don't know how to use curves.
  7. Yeah please do a tutorial, that's a really cool text.
  8. ------------ I agree that the tutorial should be linked in this post; but, it'd probably be best if a Mod plugged the link into the main post, for all to easily find? Sorry that I was rude, and yes I agree it should be plugged into the main post, along with the other two links people have supplied also showing what this plug-in does.
  9. Well I did a search for alpha masking last month when I was trying to figure out how to use it and nothing useful came up. So I assumed the results would be the same this month, and since the person asking the question didn't edit his post saying that he had found one I again assumed that he had NOT regardless of the date it was posted. And even if he had, I figured a link to that tutorial would be relevant in this topic seeing how it's using this exact plug-in. I thought if someone new (like me) had came across this plug-in and wanted to know how to use it that that link would be useful and convenient since it's now posted in this topic and they don't have to Google the web for it. Sorry for wasting everyones time and precious posting space on this topic since obviously all of us (even us noobs) are all very aware of this tutorial. Sorry if you didn't mean what you said as rude or sarcastic, but I took it as such, and I'm not in a good mood right now. /end rant
  10. Here's a really good tutorial on how to use it, it helped me out TONS. http://cmdsketchpad.com/tutorial.php?tutid=3
  11. Hmmmm, I never got a message saying I had a reply , glad I checked this post............2 months later Anyway, YEAH please make a tutorial on how you did this!! I did these and then forgot about this post..... but I really didn't know what I was doing, was just messin' around, knowing how you did yours would help me learn some new techniques

  13. I know a real wow factor one would be zombiez. I made these and only had PDN for 2 days and had never used any kind of photo editing software before. *edit* Sorry but as far as I know there's no tutorials for making zombies
  14. Could you post an example of what kinds of things you can do with this? I'm kinda new to PDN, and have no clue what curves effect does
  15. Could you maybe give me some pointers? Like maybe how to make the missing eye look better, I don't know what all the effects do yet, I think I just used blur and frosted glass effects on the missing eye.
  16. Where do I find this feathering tool/effect everyone keeps talkin' about?????

  20. Ok I know this is REALLY crappy, but keep in mind I've only had this paint.net program 1 day and have NEVER used any type of program like this before.....also, this layers bloody potato is kicking my butt and is sooooo confusing, I'm gunna have to read some tutorials on this subject. And also I did this in about 5 minutes. Oh 1 more thing........why wont paint.net let me make my pic B/W or change the colors and tones?!!!!!!!! ARGGGGGG!
  21. Photoshop tutorials...... http://www.tutorialized.com/view/tutori ... mbie/26315 http://www.tutorialized.com/view/tutori ... mbie/26276 I'm wanting to do a mix of these techniques, I've kind of figured out how to do the layering effect in the second tutorial, but am still a little confused on how the layers work. Something else, Photoshop has a burn tool/brush that a lot of people use to make their zombies. Does Paint.net have a tool like this, I can't find one
