  1. For anyone who hasn't checked this out, it looks very nice. And is an easy installation.
  2. Considering I work at Scholastic, I love it. We publish/distribute plenty of Captain Underpants books, along with thousands of other books for children. At least it's not Harry Potter. I'm sick of Harry Potter. I'm glad this new one is the last one.
  3. Just realized that I haven't posted up here much lately. Here's some abstract art for you all. These are some of my recent Paint.NET only pieces. For those up at dA you may have seen these already, sorry.
  4. 100% PDN. Based off one of my earlier works. Posted Here and at DeviantArt.
  5. @MadJik - Very nice work as usual. Congrats on 1000! Speaking of abstract art... Click picture for larger view.
  6. It wasn't planned but yeah, it could be. Was just playing around and ended up with that.
  7. I've been studying the tutorials at solarvoyager.com.
  8. I'm stuck doing spacescenes. 100% PDN. Larger view at DA.
  9. I'm stuck doing spacescenes. 100% PDN. Larger view at DA.
  10. Rock on BoltBait. You've made one of my favorite plugins even better. Thanks.

  12. My first attempt at something inspired by Helio. Click picture for fullview (1280 x 800). Used Terragen, GIMP, and of course PDN.
  13. @FrEaK - Looking good. One thing I'll say is that before adding the drop shadow on things that come close to the edges you should expand the canvas size (ctrl+shift+R) a little bit. It'll keep the shadow from getting cut off, like it is down by the feet. That thing has come a long way, good work.
  14. Huh, I was thinking about this same thing tonight. Wish I knew code...
  15. Will do. Hrumph, learn my secrets....He's the one who just won the SOTW... Here's the last one for tonight. It lost some detail, had to shrink it down quite a bit, the original is 3389 x 2728. Click Here or Here for larger view.
  16. Thanks man. That last one had 9 layers in the end but was probably closer to 20 layers before merging. Usually I got anywhere from 5-30 layers. For colors, well... I don't use the paintbrush too much, more gradients, layers (quite often difference and overlay), blurs, and clouds for texture. I really just do a lot of playing around until I get something I like.
