  1. Congrats CMD. I almost used the same picture as you, that is quite the awesome scene. Also, good job on your ebay like win, you know...waiting till the last few seconds and then jumping in. Maybe I'll try that next time.
  2. After 4 months I decided that it was time for a new Av and Sig combo. Old... New... I'm gonna miss the ol' NIN inspired combo...
  3. Your work(s) impressed me once more jpope! Your dA gallery is amazing! Thank you. Yes it is. Thanks. I've been playing around with some of the codelab samples lately and mainly used the Moire script for the background. The curvy line on top was created starting with just a straight line then twist and panelling effects multipule times, a little polar inversion, the ol' fire tutorial technique, some blurs, curves adjustment...Didn't do too much for just a line.
  4. One more for tonight... Click picture for larger view. For those with a widescreen, the download at dA is 1440x900 for use as a wallpaper.
  5. ^Wow, that looks great..^ Something I finished this morning. Click picture for dA view.
  6. Well Madjik, I didn't quite use your plugin for it's intetned use but, do any of us abstract artists use all of the effects for thier intended uses. Click image for larger view.
  7. You could take a look at this tutorialand create your sig using what you learn from it.
  8. Something new I started last night and finished before work this morning...
  9. I have completed my first cursor pack... theGlassPack1 These are 100% PDN. Go here to download and try them out. Caution: These cursors are very glassy and you may be able to see completely through them. Just don't break 'em.
  10. Wow that looks great. I've fav'd 2 out of 3 of these on dA cause they look awesome.
  11. Isn't there one (or two) in the CodeLab examples? Here are the two CodeLab examples for everyone to see... The Julia Codelab generated dll does not have any sliders whereas the Mandel one does. Maybe someone wants to start with these... If I knew how to write code I would but... I don't so, I won't.
  12. Can you tell I've been watching Shark Week on discovery? Click for full view.
  13. I like it!! The part that looks like water Thank you all. EDIT: Yay, page 400!
  14. And now for another abstract...This one is my 50th deviation at deviantART. Please click to see a larger view.
  15. You can always post your image as a thumbnail instead. Try putting a th_ in front of the image name, this is what I did within your quote. For example... (examples show parentheses () where brackets [] should go.) Instead of: (img)http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o234/germanoma/gun008.png(/img'>http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o234/germanoma/gun008.png(/img) Try: (img)http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o234/germanoma/th_gun008.png(/img) Also, if you want the thumbnail picture clickable to show the full resolution you can try: (url=http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o234/germanoma/gun008.png)(img)http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o234/germanoma/th_gun008.png(/img)(/url) And that will give you this: If you click this picture it will open another window that will be the full size picture. Hope this helps.
  16. Thank you, thank you. For this one I used Sunrays, Film, Gradient bars, a few layers of gradients, for the 'wrinkles' I put a few random lines down and used the Radial Blur Deluxe, for the border I used Borders 'n Shapes with Jitter (rotated 90 degrees to get the other side). All layers in black and white execpt one layer set to difference with a white and blue reflected linear gradient. Didn't do too much, tried to keep this one simple.
  17. I had a few moments last night and needed my PDN fix ... Please click image for larger view.
  18. The performance increase for Gaussian Blur is going to be great. Especially on large images. Thanks Rick, can't wait.
  19. It's a Nikon N75. Someday I'm gonna step up to a nice digital but I still enjoy using film. (Of course, having a stack of film that needs developed is not all that enjoyable ) Just remember, these were edited with PDN so some of that clarity and beauty came from that. Try this: Open your picture, duplicate layer and set top layer to multiply. Adjust the opacity of the top layer where you like. I find that this really brings out the color of photos. For example:
