There is a big difference between total number of PdN users and total number of users on this forum. He could probably get away with making the 3.0 forum general access and get a good sampling of users w/out being overwhelmed.

what is your image?

Do you want to make an animation, or do you just want to stretch pixels? Its easy to strech pixels, just make a selection that is the entire height of the image and only a few pixels wide(between 1-10ish). Then use the "Move Selected Pixels" tool to strech the selection from either the right or left side.

what size are you looking for? Raven: before you waste your time you might want to ask if he minds if the banner is done mostly in PhotoShop and "glowed" in PdN.....hehe

I honestly do not think that using Paint.NET is a viable option for someone with your skill set and/or needs. It really doesn't seem like PdN is what you are looking for. PdN works w/ pixels, like in a picture. To change the text you need to change the individual pixels (yes, those are the tiny, tiny dots). EDIT: Where are you located anyway? Maybe Rick Brewster could commission one of us Geek Squad types to come out and give you private lessons.

I'm not saying that this is at all difficult for the end user, because it shouldn't be, but maybe some of the confusion lies in the fact that the folder in which the "Plugins" go is called "Effects". To make this as simple as possible, for those people who are just that, you could rename the "Effects" folder to "Plugins" in future PdN versions.
