OK, so first of all, MS Paint = old paint.
And if you're using paint then why did you post it in a program different than paint?!
-
-
yeah, delete the background and paste the horse...

mmm, I like it! Not sure if this can be done, though.

You can Select All and then use the move selected pixels tool.

WOW! This sounds cool! Gotta try it!
EDIT: Wow! Great! *thumbs up*!

That's a hell load of effects. You need 2 photos, a bunch of layer modes and the photo flood fill effect.
-
make sure tolerance bar is on 0%!!!
EDIT: And also make sure you're selecting the right layer!

That's AWESOME! I do comic pages with PdN, but they're sprite comics.
-
you can select the white using magic wand tool and then hit Ctrl+I and then Ctrl+Shift+X.
-
Use the magic wand tool and hit delete.

Allow me to make it three!
Download Illnab's Alpha Mask Import plugin.
Open a new image the same size as your current image.
Give the new image a black background.
Create your text in white where you want the text to be in your original image.
Save the image as textmask.png.
In your original image, create a new layer and draw your gradient with the fade in proper relation to where you want the text and what part of the gradient you want visible. You could unflatten the mask image and copy / paste the text layer to the document as a reference. Use the Mask Import plugin to import the textmask.png to mask out the gradient in the shape of the text.
The up-side to this one is that it will be anti aliased, same as the text was originally.
I use this method a LOAD! the only problem is that I have to save the mask...

Me tooRick, I didn't know you were a DA. I'm watching you... -
ok then =)Trickman, I understand. I guess my comments were directed more toward Picc84 then. Its just a lot of times you see people interjecting when their input is not needed. I guess this could be considered one of those unnecessary interjections...hehe -
barkbark, I was talking about the title BEFORE it was changed. It was just "feature request". I understand his request.
How do you post pictures?
