Yes, it's 100% PDN. I made it by following a PS tutorial I came across while searching for planet tutorials. The tutorial can be found here. (it's the bottom one) Some techniques used in that tutorial are not possible in PDN, but, that doesn't mean the end results can't be the same or similar... with a little ingenuity. :wink:

before this gets locked... The Titlebar of the application will tell you what version you are using. You can also look in Help > About...

Trebuchet MS is probably the font used. The only difference in the font used for 'paint.net' and the Trebuchet font is the little "hang" that is present on the 'i' and 'j', which can be easily removed.

^ Those are looking very good! In the eyes I made here, I used small gradients for highlights. They're white gradients, fading from opaque to transparent, top to bottom. Maybe it'll help you out. I really like the way your iris's turned out. I'm jealous.

Getting back into the space theme: [ 1152 x 864 ] The nebula needs some work. I'm thinking more detail and less stars. I'm pretty happy with the way my planet turned out but it needs a little more detail as well. The Cloud Plugin played a major role in both the nebula[e] and the planet.

Yeah I had taken a screenshot and for some reason, after pasting, the selection just didn't look right. Upon review, perhaps I just wasn't drunk enough.

Disregard. *brainfart*

When pasting a larger image onto a smaller canvas(Paste > Keep canvas size), the selection encompasses the entire window rather than just the canvas area.

Start > Run > clipbrd

Until then... workaround (polygonal/magnetic lasso)

Try using a diamond gradient. Set your primary color to white (or a lighter shade of the color you're putting it over) and set your secondary's alpha to 0 (zero).

Useful update and kudos for implementing the Pencil Sketch effect. Any plans on allowing for color in the new effect. From looking at the dialog in the "Ana" screenshot, this seems to be a miss. Unless of course "Range" allows for this?

There's just a lot of posts where somebody applies 3 or 4 effects with various settings and posts the results. Not exactly very creative or interesting stuff. I agree. There is nothing to debate. I never said it wasn't any good or that I disliked it.
