Welcome to the forums! :D

On all of your pictures you do a good job at cutting out the images, especially on the last one. 8) Two suggestions, though: use feather, and on the third one down, try duplicating the layer the wings are on, hiding one layer, and then erasing the places where you can see a little bit of the background behind them. Then set the transparency of your primary color to about 70 and use the clone tool. :CloneStamp: Set the clone tool's source to the hidden layer, and then go to the visible wings layer and start brushing it in with that. This suggestion is based off of Wither's faking soft brushes tutorial.
