19artist60
Here's a problem I am noticing in the tutorials, outside of the fact that non-tutorials aren't removed.....hmm, what word am I looking for....."directions".....explaining step by step . There seems to be a lot of assumption going on. Assuming others know what you're thinking or did, and bypassing steps or mentioning them. I was just trying out a wave diamond by 50 cent, and there was too much guess work, or looking at the copied history and saying, huh? Just talking common courtesy here, that's all. Adios. :? david.atwell
Why don't you ask this in that tutorial? Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

HITMAN-X-
Well some tut writes are not posting Exact the way they did it to avoid Copy's of itI would ask trough Pm if i was you Best Regards, Bugster The whole point of making a tut is so people can learn get the exact same effect. The reason steps are missing is because some of the tut makers write there tut's and don't go back over them to make sure they did not miss anything. As for asking by PM is not the best way. It better to ask in the topic so others can benefit from the information as well. Quote DEXTUT.COM

I thought it was also to learn some of the overall techniques the more experienced PDN users use.

HITMAN-X-
I thought it was also to learn some of the overall techniques the more experienced PDN users use. That what I was hinting at. You pull of the same effect that the tutorial maker did then you learned a new technique. Now go play with it and see what you can really do with it. What I mean is - the purpose of a grass tutorial is not to show people how to create grass - it is to show people how paint.net's effects can be used to create grass AFAIK.
