pyrochild
the checkerboard pattern represents transparency. to make it white, create a new layer, move it to the bottom, and use the Paint Bucket tool to fill it with white, or whatever other color you desire. Jorge
Is there any startup plugin or command line to create a layer, put on the bottom and paint it white directly? Or some way to make automatic this process using the shorcuts keys? Is this possible? Thanks for any help.
david.atwell
It already does that. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. Rick Brewster
What david says. Paint.NET starts out with an opaque white background layer. New layers are created as fully transparent. So, just create a new layer and draw on it.
