Arc Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 If possible could the next version of PDN allow you to have a selected amount to resize images. (Y'know like MS Paint.) Because I hate the fact that I have to keep switiching over to MS Paint just to do resizing. Quote

OmgWtfBbq Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 ^^ What he said. You can resize on PDN. Just click the solid black arrow on the lefthand toolbox, click picture, and drag the nodes. Hold shift to keep the aspect ratio Quote
Hellfire010 Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Or image -> resize for precise resizing... Quote
Arc Posted October 22, 2007 Author Posted October 22, 2007 When I drag the nodes, it gets blurry. And I don't want to resize the whole image just a selected area. Quote

Myrddin Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 When I drag the nodes, it gets blurry. That is bound to happen no matter what resizing method you use in Paint.NET. You are essentially pulling the pixels apart and Paint.NET needs to fill these new spaces in with something, whether it be by an average of the surrounding pixels or by taking the adjacent one and duplicating it, you will still get a certain amount of blurriness, more so with the more you expand it. And I don't want to resize the whole image just a selected area. Use any of the selection tools first ( :LassoTool: ), then use the Move Selection Tool ( ) to adjust the nodes.
