Yata Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 File - Save as - choose a file type and click "Save" Quote "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former" [ dA Paint.NET Chat :: Yata on dA ]
kasey Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 File - Save as - choose a file type and click "Save" that simple? Quote
Yata Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Yep...just like any program. Paint net uses it's own "Project" filetype with the extension ".pdn", which only paint net can use, so save it as (I recommend) a .png. Cornipsus Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 I would recommend that, if the picture has multiple layers, you save it as both a .pdn and a .png. That way you can come back to it later and edit the individual layers. Quote The God of Judgement is not pleased...

usedHONDA Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Not unless you already closed PDN. If you still have it open, you can still save it as a png and get the full effect, but if you already closed it, your stuck with jpg. But that won't be much of a loss if you if it was a picture taken by a digital camera or a scanned image (you'll hardly notice the difference). Yata Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 You'll just need to download the new version when it's released. Quote "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former" [ dA Paint.NET Chat :: Yata on dA ]
kasey Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 but it will expire right? i guess i should just download the regular version when this happens or stay with the beta will i loose anything when it expires? Quote
Yata Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 No, your plugins and work will all be safe. Quote "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former" [ dA Paint.NET Chat :: Yata on dA ]
