Paint net uses it's own "Project" filetype with the extension ".pdn", which only paint net can use, so save it as (I recommend) a .png. Cornipsus Posted April 28, 2007 Share Posted April 28, 2007 I would recommend that, if the picture has multiple layers, you save it as both a .pdn and a .png. If you still have it open, you can still save it as a png and get the full effect, but if you already closed it, your stuck with jpg. But that won't be much of a loss if you if it was a picture taken by a digital camera or a scanned image (you'll hardly notice the difference).
