Lekimoo
Hi! I'm new to the forums and I wanted to ask a question. I normaly use paint.net for all of my GFX, but my friends uses photoshop. I noteced when I used photoshop that paint.net doesen't have automatic align lines. This is kind of what I mean http://www.heathrowe.com/hr/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/align-tricks4.png Is there any plugin that auto-aligns things? Thanks
Ego Eram Reputo
Hi and welcome Lekimoo Yes there is TR's PseudoSnap. It allows you to snap an object (an object = pixels on a transparent layer) to a defined grid. Here's an alternative align plugin, without the grid option Align Object (KrisVDM's plugin pack). Lekimoo
Thanks for the quick reply! I was thinking something like this though https://support.apple.com/library/APPLE/APPLECARE_ALLGEOS/Product_Help/en_US/PUBLIC_USERS/134389/S1053_AlignmentGuides3.png I struggle with making things align with each other becase I don't have a steady hand. Cc4FuzzyHuggles
I don't have a steady hand either. For things where precision is needed, I often zoom in and use the arrow keys on my keyboard to move things one pixel at a time. Making sure objects are each on their own layers helps for overlapping objects too. I haven't used this plugin much, so not sure if it's what you want or not, but maybe it can help too? http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/4193-align-object-plugin-updated-06172007/ Edited September 2, 2015 by Cc4FuzzyHuggles Quote *~ Cc4FuzzyHuggles Gallery ~*
