When I try to open the file again I get the following error message: "The file is corrupt or was saved with a newer version of Paint.NET" I have attached the error message and My Paint.net version below. skullbonz Posted August 25, 2015 Share Posted August 25, 2015 By the looks of it you are using a very old version of paint.net and trying to open a file made with a newer version of paint.net. And PLEASE enable the auto-updater! It's nothing against you, but quite simply, old versions of the program have problems that have been solved in the interim. I'll lock this now.
