Hyunchill
I have a new Windows 8 computer and I like to edit photos. But I can't because of this bug. If anyone could help me out it would appreciated. I don't have to click its just when I have my paint brush out and move my mouse about in the window it makes this black flashing trail of dots. Cc4FuzzyHuggles
Hello, find the settings icon in the upper right corner of Paint.net 4.0 and click it. Then turn off "Hardware accelerated rendering (GPU)" and see if that fixes things for you. 1 Quote *~ Cc4FuzzyHuggles Gallery ~*

Ego Eram Reputo
As that worked for you, please post the contents of the Settings > Diagnosics tab here so the Developer can view your system details.
