urbanriot
I just upgraded to 4.0 and I appreciate many of the new additions however I can't seem to find the option to disable the annoying box at the top of the screen that seems to be a smaller version of what I'm seeing underneath. Clicking x results in closing the file but I want to close this distracting box or at the very least move it to another monitor. Thanks in advance! BoltBait
That "annoying box" is actually the way you switch between open documents. Try opening more than one image at the same time. You'll see it is actually showing you a list of your open documents. You click on them in order to switch between which one you're working on. Rick Brewster
Think of it likes tabs in your web browser. Each image shows up as a 'tab' with a full live preview. urbanriot
Oh, now I see it's intention, thanks for clarifying. It might be ADHD or some other psychological issue on my end but it agitates me to the point where the software is unusable for anything requiring focus. Is there any way to hide it? Rick Brewster
No ... it's an integral part of the program. Hmm... did you never notice the thumbnails before? (they used to be right-aligned) Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
