  1. Oh, now I see it's intention, thanks for clarifying. It might be ADHD or some other psychological issue on my end but it agitates me to the point where the software is unusable for anything requiring focus. Is there any way to hide it?
  2. I just upgraded to 4.0 and I appreciate many of the new additions however I can't seem to find the option to disable the annoying box at the top of the screen that seems to be a smaller version of what I'm seeing underneath. Clicking x results in closing the file but I want to close this distracting box or at the very least move it to another monitor. Thanks in advance!
  3. I suggested to one of my home user clients that wanted to do some simple photo-editing to try Paint.NET. On the download page, it says to 'click the links below'. My client clicked this, installed the application, and discovered she's getting popups now and has no paint.net software. I checked for myself, and realized that the first link that reads "Download Now!" actually leads to some registry 'cleaner' software, that possibly installs spyware on your computer... and I actually fell for it myself! On my screen, that's the first link that shows up, and if I'd scrolled down I'd have seen the 'real' links. Does anyone else think this might be a little misleading for more simplistic users, and that maybe the advertiser is taking advantage of site layouts?
  4. Great program! I'm a reseller and have Paint.Net installed on every system that goes out the door. This may have been asked but I was unable to find a thread with this information - Post install I've discovered a number of files still open with other programs when using the Edit command (such as TIF with Windows Paint) and I'd like to know if it would be possible to incorporate a feature post install that allows you to adjust file associations for the open and edit command. Open is easy but changing Edit is a little more difficult and most people have an image viewing program seperate from their edit program. If there is already a simple way to do this, please advise. Thanks in advance!
