gaz9012
Hi people, i'm drawing a logo and have used the line/curve tool a lot. once i have got my basic shape and have rubbed out the lines i no longer need, is it possible to reselect a line and change the curve? thanks in advance
Ego Eram Reputo
No it is not possible. Once the line is committed to the canvas it is rendered as a collection of pixels on the layer. The Line/Curve tool has no knowledge or memory of the previous lines drawn. If you placed your lines on their own layer it would be a simple matter to delete the old line and redraw it. Alternatively, a line on it's own layer might be able to be manipulated or distorted usng other tools. If it shares the layer with other image elements you will have to do some complex selection to restrict the distortion to just the line. This is the power of layers. Get used to using them and you will wonder how you ever did without them Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
