funnnyfarm Posted June 3, 2013 Share Posted June 3, 2013 (edited) I'm trying to reskin an train engine for my Trainz simulator I use.I can do the basics. I am stuck on adding color.When I add the color to the train engine, I loose all the detail on the engine. See attached photo. I try the wand but it unpredictable it's goes where ever it wants to. Ego Eram Reputo Posted June 3, 2013 Share Posted June 3, 2013 You mean the bottom two panels? I'd try the recolor tool. 1. Set the Secondary color to #808080 (the background grey color) and the Primary to your new color (I used light blue). 2. Activate the Recolor Tool 3. Set the Tolerance in the Tool Bar to around 23% (trial and error found this setting) 4. Turn the Brush width up to 30 - something nice and fat to cover the body in relatively few strokes. 5.
