Hello folks,

I don't want to nag or something, but I'm curious about the .NET word in Paint.NET name, as Microsoft .NET guidelines states the following:

Do not use "Microsoft .NET" or ".NET" in the name of your products, services, or devices.

Source: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/legal/intellectualproperty/Trademarks/Usage/net.aspx

Or it's enough to name product "Paint.NET" instead of "Paint .NET" to make no violation?

Thank you for your response.

Rick (Paint.NET Developer) has a close association with Microsoft.  I'm sure he has either conformed to the requirements or has explicit permission to use .NET in the name.
