deedee
Good day, Is there a way to make a stitching effect around an object. As if it was sewn around the edges. Hope this makes sense :-)
Ego Eram Reputo
The Line/Curve tool has an option to use a dashed line. Activate the tool and you will find this option in the Tool Bar. By using several dashed lines with an appropriate line thickness you should be able to give a passable hand sewn effect to your object. It would be a good idea to place the 'stitching' on it's own, brand new layer, rather than placing it directly onto the layer holding the image. If i might add You can use EER's approach and if it's on its own layer you can add a small amount of drop shadow to give it some depth and a touch of realism. Don't offset the drop much. Maybe 0 and 0 or 1 and 1. Set widening at 0 with blur at 1 or 1 and 1 again.
