HyReZ
Greetings All, I am a new user of PDN as well as a new member to this forum. I was informed by member PNDNOOB, that PDN does not let you work with true vector graphics. I would like to see this feature added. (In the topic heading I left out the "e" in requested and did not know how to correct it) Edited December 16, 2011 by HyReZ
david.atwell
To edit a post, just hit the "edit" button at the bottom of your post. Easy as pie. As for asking if Paint.NET could have vector functionality - that's kind of like asking if the airplane you bought could also be used as a boat. Vector and raster graphics are two very different things, and Paint.NET just isn't made for that. Even the professional-grade Adobe Photoshop isn't a vector program; Adobe makes Illustrator for that purpose. (I know, each has elements of the other nowadays, but my point stands). If you're looking for a free program to do vector art, I recommend Inkscape. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
Rick Brewster
Never gonna happen. You're asking for a completely new, completely different piece of software. Or Inkscape.
