jvwal
Newbie here. Sometimes when I am cloning a portion of a single layer, I want to make the copied pixels less opaque. How to I set the clone stamp to make the material I am copying more transparent.? Thank you.
david.atwell
Welcome to the forums! You may notice that the forum you posted in said "Publishing ONLY" in large letters; the post you made wasn't a tutorial, so I moved it. Make sure you check out the rules before you post next time. As for your question: there's no way to do what you're suggesting, but you can clone onto another layer. I suggest creating the new layer, changing its opacity, then cloning from the first layer to the second. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... yellowman
In the color palette, increase the transparency of the primary color then do the cloning. EDIT: As David said, Or do the transparency on a new layer on top, then adjust the opacity of this layer.
