munch52
So I have been reading the forums and it seems that using the magic wand or the color extractor plugin are the most common ways to have a black and white photo with leaving some desired color. I was wondering if anyone knows of a tool or plugin that erases the color (like brushing it away) leaving it black and white (not transparent). I vaguely recall doing something like this using photoshop a few years ago. No layers were required. Thanks!
Sarkut
Whatever that photoshop tool was, Paint.NET doesn't have it. Duplicate your color image layer, turn one layer black-and-white. Using either the Eraser tool or Clone Stamp will allow a brushing it away method.
