jebllard03
OK, I have an idea for you. First, you have my plugin pack installed, right? If so, try this: Place some text on a layer by itself. With the magic wand, Shift-Click a transparent pixel on that layer and press Ctrl-I to invert selection. This will make all your text selected. Make that text layer invisible. Just be sure that the text that you can no longer see is still selected. Add a new layer. On that new layer, run my Effects > Selection > Bevel plugin. Adjust the slider to the way you like it. You can then, fine-tune the look by playing with the layer opacity. okay so i was finally able to install your plug in.. i had some things on my computer that needed to be fixed first.. but anyway... i was followin the above directions.. anway i got to the part to where i have to make the text layer invisible and i dont have the option to make check or uncheck the box. BoltBait
You slightly missed the first step: "Place some text on a layer by itself." In order to do this properly, you need to add a new layer first, then add the text to that layer. BoltBait
Yes. This means, inside of Paint.NET, click the "Effects" menu. From there, click the "Selection" submenu. In that submenu, click "Bevel". jebllard03
i can't select bevel its not in there...
Sarkut
This is where you should find Bevel Selection in the Paint.NET menu. ==================================================================== If it's not there, close Paint.NET. Then open the Program Files/Paint.NET/Effects folder, and make a screenshot showing everything inside the folder and the top of the Windows Explorer window, with the full path to the Effects folder showing. pyrochild
You need to move those files into C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects Right now they're in C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects\BoltBaitPack, which won't work. Sarkut
Yes. The plugin files are inside a folder named BoltBaitPack. That folder shouldn't be there. Only plugin files, no folders in the Effects folder. ======================================= pyrochild types faster than I do.
