Quesion about Rotate/Zoom tool

Recommended Posts

I noticed that the Rotate/Zoom tool doesn't rotate the whole layer exactly around the center of the canvas, it actually shifts the center of the layer one pixel, and you can see that clearly when dealing with exact square canvas and trying to rotate it 90, -90 or 180 degrees you will see a transparent line along one side or two of 1 pixel width depending on the angle of rotation, thanks.

Yes you are right Yellowman. I find it`s easiest to see if you open a square canvas, delete the white colour so it is transparent, open a new layer and paint it black. Then when you try rotating the layer 90 degrees there is a transparent line showing along the top.Well spotted. A bug in the program maybe?
