RaveN
Using the flattened will work. You are just changing the blending mode over the thing, If it looks wierd with the white, which I suspect it will, play around with it, try making one pixel black, and one transparent, and try different colors. Hellfire010
Thanks I'm still accepting more ideas... I REALLY NEED SOME. Also, i was wondering where everyone gets their ideas from. It seems that I'm always just staring at the PDN screen with a blank mind... I need a source of ideas, but I have no clue how to go about forming some. Leif
Haw about making something from scratch? I have been using paint.NET to make drawings. More or les copying from TV screen dumps. Some people do the same in some of the big “pay for†Quote My DA: http://leif-j.deviantart.com/ -------------- Some people seek justice so persistent, that they will do great injustice themselves. Hellfire010
Hmmm.... that's not a bad idea. Nice btw I think I'll start with something simple, such as the Simpsons or Family Guy or something of that sort. _____________________________________________ Well I drew Brian from Family Guy. The lines aren't all good or anything, and i didn't put in a background, but here it is.
Leif
That is nice. Better then the first I did. Here is something I do, if it can help you: Make the canvas and drawing tree times as big as you want the final pix to bee. That way you can easily zoom in and out when you do the details. When you are done, you resize it to the size you want. That way you also hide some of the small errors. Quote My DA: http://leif-j.deviantart.com/ -------------- Some people seek justice so persistent, that they will do great injustice themselves. Hellfire010
Alright thanks for the tips! And I was looking at another picture when drawing that, cause I can't possibly do it from memory, lol. Also made this, but its not that great :\ Messed up his mouth lol I usually gaussian blur 1 px when I'm done, I think it makes it looks better... is this a good idea? RaveN
For cartoons like family guy and the simpsons, no. You have to study the design of the cartoon, and see how defined the lines are, in the simpsons and family guy, and american dad for that matter, the lines are quite defined. I usually blur stuff a lot, just make it large and then resize, should come out fine.
