puffpastry3000
I was trying to delete one of the layers that I had and then I decided I wanted it back so I went to my history like usual and clicked it (like usual) and then it kinda went crazy and deleted like four layers that I now can't seem to get back. They aren't even in my history anymore. Is there a way to retrieve them or have I just screwed myself over?
Ego Eram Reputo
If you'll forgive the humor, History is like history. A change made in the past affects all things that follow (just like in Back to the Future). If you have rolled back to a given point in your history, a single change there will erase what follows. I suspect (and you probably realize this) that your additional layers are gone for good. Sorry. puffpastry3000
Yeah, but the part it usually erases are all of the things I did that are listed under it. This erased the stuff above it as well. Almost all of the way back to the beginning. Yeah, I kinda figured. Started over anyway.
Sarkut
You may have accidentally clicked the icon at the extreme left in the History window. When that happens, clicking the icon to the extreme right should bring it all back. Once the file has been closed, of course, all History is lost. puffpastry3000
meh, I just gave up and started over. Tried it. Didn't come back that time so I'll just get over it. Thank you both though for helping me out.
