LeeGeer
I have downloaded Paint.NET 3.5. But when I click on the icon, I get this message: "C:\WINDOWS\microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\mscorwks.dll could not be found" What should I do? Sarkut
LeeGeer: Do you have Net Framework v.3.5 SP1 installed?
Ego Eram Reputo
If you haven't got 3.5 SP1 installed, there is a link on this page: http://www.getpaint.net/download.html Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
LeeGeer
I did it from that site and tried 3 times. The Net Framework v.3.5 SP1 installs B4 the Paint.Net but it won't come up and I get the error message.
Sarkut
What OS do you have? Vista, XP, etc.
LeeGeer
XP
Sarkut
LeeGeer: With XP you can use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. Click on the Microsoft NET Framework 2.0 listing, then on 'Click here for support information.' A window will come up offering a Repair option. LeeGeer
Thanks. I'll try that.
LeeGeer
Microsoft NET Framework 1.1 is what I have. I haven't done what it says on 'Click here for support information' yet. Actually, this is the wife - Robin - I'm the one who uses Paint.Net and the hubby has been too busy to work on this so - I've been the one talking to you beyond the first message. I'll see if I can get him to help me with it but I just thought I would ask (B4 we go through the trouble & find that it won't or something) if 1.1 will work. Sarkut
The error message concerns a file from v.2.0, so repair of 1.1 is probably not relevant. Doing the repair on NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is more likely to help.
