Can't access the color palette folder

Hi, I think paint.net tries to access the Document folder that is in my usb key instead of the one in my D disk. When I try to save a palette or to open the folder from the menu in paint.net while not having my usb key plugged in, it gives me the error I attached here. If the usb key is in, it works fine. I didn't find any parameters to change the location of the file and the repair tool doesn't do anything. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum @Alegria :)

Until someone else answers your question, who will have more knowledge about the error you posted.

I did notice this, after running your crash log in the Crash Scanner, that you really need to upgrade your system:

If you've told Windows that your Documents folder is on your USB key, then that's where Paint.NET will be told to go. There's no way for Paint.NET to know the "other" location of Documents.

In general it's a VERY bad idea to move folders like Documents onto removable media. All sorts of bad things can happen, all over the place.

Hi, no my document folder is on internal memory D (the rest of my computer knows it's that one), but I emptied that folder once to my usb key (F) and now paint.net refuses to check D...

Paint.NET will use whatever you've configured your Documents folder for.

Right click on your Documents folder from This PC, select Properties. Then click on the Location tab. It will be pointing to your F drive. Just move it back to where it should be on D.

When you want to move the contents of Documents, just move the files. Don't change the location of the folder itself.

This is very, very weird because I remember I have set My Documents to D, but actually you're right, it was pointing at F
