Cad1959 Posted June 22, 2019 Share Posted June 22, 2019 I received some .PDN Files and when I tried to open them in Paint.Net I got this message There was an error opening this file and when I went to see the details it said this Application version: paint.net 4.1.6 System.FormatException: bad TGA header at PaintDotNet.Data.TgaFileType.OnLoad(Stream input) in D:\src\pdn\src\PaintDotNet\Data\TgaFileType.cs:line 376 at PaintDotNet.FileType.Load(Stream input) in D:\src\pdn\src\Data\FileType.cs:line 496 at PaintDotNet.Functional.Func.Eval[T1,TRet](Func`2 f, T1 arg1) in D:\src\pdn\src\Base\Functional\Func.cs:line 158 How can I fix this file so I can open it? If you're willing to use a Beta release, Paint.NET v4.2 has improved TGA support. Rick Brewster Posted June 22, 2019 Share Posted June 22, 2019 If you can't open it with the 4.2 Beta, then attach the image here and we'll look into it. @null54 will be interested as well, he improved a bunch of TGA handling in 4.2.
