Yea, I did try that one, but it did not allow control of the thickness of the lines.  You could only get thinner lines by adding more lines, or the ratio setting, which made them uneven.

Thanks for the idea though!  :)

OK, I must be missing a setting, cause I couldn't get the lines thin like that when using only 25.  I must be missing something.  Back in a few after I re-attempt!

OK, I got that, thanks!  The bottom is the Ratio, and that can thin the lines, and use the top for the rotation angle.  When I was doing those before, I was dialing both, and my screen update was giving me odd results.  I've updated PDN since that, and it works better.  That'll work for the one!

Found this on the web via google just now from 2012 (link).  Tried it and it gets more random results, but less option to move the center...

  1. drag across edge of picture a small area
  2. fill with noise
  3. drag that area across the picture to make random lines
  4. Rect to Polar using plugin
  5. White/Trans gradient on another layer from middle
    1. duplicate layer as needed
  6. See below

Stop at #3 for zoom lines.

These two solution should work for me, thanks for the help!
