Carto
I would really appreciate the ability to right click on an image in Paint.net and choose a menu item to copy the full, absolute file path of the active image to the clipboard. I'm a C# developer and wonder if this capability would be possible and easy to code as a plugin? As a bonus... it sure would be nice if the "Save As..." dialog remembered the last used directory. I spend a lot of time browsing folders.

Plugins do not have access to this information. 5 hours ago, Carto said: right click on an image in Paint.net and choose a menu item to copy the full, absolute file path of the active image to the clipboard. The only workaround I can think of right now is first save the image. Find it with File Explorer then Right click > Properties > Security tab. You can copy the full path listed under Object Name.
